Our Story

This is what happens when a couple of engineers come back to Pittsburgh to start a small business after years in corporate America. 21st Street Coffee and Tea is our ever evolving, always learning, never resting, unusually great coffee bar. This isn't your typical coffee shop, Pittsburgh. Yes, we have Wifi, seating, a comfy couch, pastries, and the like... but the focus of our business is 99% on the coffee and tea.

We are family owned and operated with two locations in downtown Pittsburgh. We feature delicious award-winning, in-season, Direct Trade coffees from Intelligentsia brewed on state of the art equipment. Our core offerings highlight the natural goodness of our coffees and teas and are carefully prepared by our expertly trained baristas.
