Your Pittsburgh Penguins came back to Pittsburgh after losing a wild one in Philly, who managed to push the series to a critical game 5. It was a typical Flyer’s circus, with lots of cheap shots after the whistle. The Flyers left Philly with some hope now being down only 3 games to 1, but the Pens had other ideas.
On Friday, we had a few visitors to the shop. I wasn’t there, but DJ managed to get a photo of a couple satisfied customers- from left to right #28 Adam Hall, #24 Kris Beech, and #2 Hal Gill. Beech has been injured most of his time in his second stint with the team, but Hall and Gill have been playing key roles as they advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. I was excited they came in and I wasn’t even there.
Anyway, the Pens polished off the Flyers 6-nil today… very very satisfying. I’d also have to say that Hall and Gill seemed to have a little extra pep in their step this afternoon- coincidence? If there is one thing I am more passionate about than coffee- it’s the Penguins.

Let’s just say that some guys in Lancaster, PA (namely my dad and brother) are refusing to talk to me now that the Pens beat their precious Flyers. Victory is glorious for Pittsburgh!
Maybe now my dad will regret not taking more pictures next to the Crosby poster at Mellon Arena.
