“It’s about getting back to the basics,” says Eileen Hassi, owner of Ritual Coffee Roasters in San Francisco. “There’s a real emphasis on the flavors and terroir of coffee, and on brewing espresso for the taste of espresso, not just as the base for milkshake or big, sugary, milky drink.”

Hear hear! Speaking of the flavor of coffee. I made it into the shop for the first time since the Clover came in and had a cup of the Kenya micro lot prepared on it. Fabulous flavor. I really enjoyed the cup, the loft, and the staff who walked me through your offerings.
Over all, well done. Thanks for paying attention to the coffee.
Awesome. Thanks for stopping in. We’ve kept the Kenya on the menu for so long because every couple of weeks we get a new and different lot to try. It’s also much different than any of the other coffees we currently have in terms of body and brightness. Good stuff.
