We have our second grinder up and running, so now you can choose your espresso blend. Currently we’re offering the Black Cat Espresso and on the second grinder we’ll pull shots of Kid-O Organic Espresso Blend. Both blends are excellent so you can’t go wrong either way. If you don’t choose you’ll most likely get Black Cat. The Kid-O was selected by CoffeeGeek as the espresso blend of the year, while the Black Cat is still the favorite at our shops.

Caffe Intermezzo has changed its name to 21st Street Coffee and Tea and moved to the corner of 21st and Smallman streets in the Strip District. (It also has an outlet in the Frick Building, Downtown.)

Aside from some Caffe Intermezzo gift bags that we still have in stock and the punch/loyalty/gift cards our customers are carrying around, the name change is now complete. The new menu is up at the Frick Building shop, so it is now officially 21st Street Coffee and Tea as well. Why didn’t we call it “Grant Street Coffee and Tea”? Good question. The answer is that we wanted everything to be consistent and we started our business in the Strip District. We think the new menus are pretty snazzy (we designed them ourselves).
Printing services were provided by Washington Reprographics. They did a great job with all the new menus, the window logos, and we have a bunch more stuff on tap for them once we get settled into the new place.
