Here are the current coffees available from the Clover. This week we added the following:
- Ethiopia Yirgacheffe (Direct Trade in Transition) - definitely one of the finest coffees we have ever tasted
- Los Delirios , Organic Direct Trade Nicaraguan
- Quetzal Breakfast Blend (Direct Trade) - temporarily sold out!
- Summer Solstice Blend (Direct Trade)
This gives you FIFTEEN fresh roasted coffees from the best roaster around that we can grind and brew in under a minute- fresh to order. If you haven’t tried it yet you need to get down here.
We also brew sample sizes (6oz) if there are some beans that you wanted to take home to brew.

Here are a couple of 12oz lattes I poured recently for my morning drink/breakfast.
For the first one I attempted a “triple”- not too bad but I’ll keep working on it. Notice how I was running out of room in the cup so each consecutive leaf got smaller- I didn’t want to have an overflow.
For the next one- just a regular single rosetta. This one came out pretty nicely…
Like I’ve said before- latte art is a nice extra touch, but the most important thing is that the drinks always taste great. These were both delicious!

Our Grand Reopening will be combined with Pittsburgh’s first ever “Clover Day”, and will be held on Saturday, August 25th from 4-7pm in the Strip District. There will be live music, food, and prizes. Representatives will be on hand from Intelligentsia and Clover (as well as our staff) to discuss Direct Trade, the Clover 1s, and just about anything related to coffee. Good times will be had by all who attend.

With all the activity, I realized that I forgot to post our new address and hours. The website has been updated, but I wanted to call them out in a post:

Pittsburgh’s first Clover Day will be held at 21st Street Coffee and Tea from 4-7pm on Saturday, August 25th, at our shop in the Strip District.
There will be plenty of free coffee, food, and fun to be had by all.
